Sherri Meadows, a REALTOR® from Ocala, Florida, is the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® liaison for Region 5, comprised of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
A REALTOR® for 36 years, Sherri is a broker associate with Keller Williams Cornerstone Realty in Gainesville, Ocala, and Summerfield, Florida. She specializes in luxury and international properties and farms. She has the professional designations of a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS); Certified Real Estate Brokerage Designation (CRB); Performance Management Network (PMN); and is a Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI).
Sherri was honored to serve as NAR’s vice president in 2016, and also chaired the Public Advocacy Advisory Group. She chaired the REALTOR® Party Member Involvement Committee in 2013 and the Membership Structure Audit Presidential Advisory Group in 2012. She has served on the Board of Directors since 2007.
The Florida Association of REALTORS® (FAR) elected Sherri their president in 2014. She has served on FAR’s Board of Directors since 2003. In 2015, Sherri was named their REALTOR® of the Year, and in 2007, they awarded her the REALTOR® Achievement Award.
The Ocala/Marion County Association of REALTORS® (OMCAR) elected Sherri their president in 2002. They twice named her their REALTOR® of the Year. She has served on numerous committees and task forces.
In 2009, Sherri was appointed to the Marion County Land Development Regulation Commission. In the same year, Governor Charlie Crist appointed her to the board of Florida Health Choices Inc., Florida’s Health Insurance Exchange/Marketplace. Sherri has served as vice-chair of the Florida Health Choices board since 2009.
Sherri studied accounting at the University of Florida. She and her family share a love of the real estate profession and work together as The Meadows Team at Keller Williams Cornerstone Realty. They enjoy spending time together on their farm in Ocala.
